Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday’s trading session with negative performance, pressured by the fall of blue chips.
By 10:35 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) went down by 0.57%, or 43.26 points, to 7,555.8 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 9.58 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 224.27 million through 11,480 transactions.
The utilities sector topped the bourse’s decliners falling 1.38%, followed by the banking and materials sector with 0.76% and 0.52%, respectively.
Similarly, the telecommunication sector retreated by 0.44%.
On the other hand, the commercial services sector headed the market’s risers adding 0.75%, while the energy sector increased by 0.25%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, inched down by 0.19%, or 6.89 points, to 3,585.84 points.
